Being a couch potato and watching TV can be a double edge sword:

Not only are you inactive, not burning calories and not putting on muscle that will help raise your metabolic rate and burn more calories 24/7, but odds are you are also grabbing more food, and grabbing the wrong food while watching the Stars dance the night away.

To make matters even worse, may people also overeat as well, because they tend not to pay attention to what and how much they are eating while watching their favorite TV shows.

So, next time you're watching TV, keep those carrot sticks and celery sticks at hand, and those cookies and chips  where they belong....out of reach and back in the pantry!
